Office seems to have a consistent track record with unprofessionalism with patients, receptionist take aggressive approach to getting patients in office, while also constantly getting calls to reschedule booked appointments by receptionistSee email to management below**Good Morning Riverside Dental office Management,My name is Naudia and I have been a patient of your office for about 2 years now. As a Healthcare Operations Manager myself, the events that transpired this morning speaking with Christine the front desk receptionist were extremely unacceptable and unprofessional. I was called twice in the month of June from the office to have my scheduled appointments rescheduled for reasons that were not provided to me and a third time this week to request to arrive at 8:45 am instead of the original time I requested of 9:30 am. This morning I called the office at 8:25 am to inform Christine the desk receptionist that I would initially not make that earlier time slot because of unforeseen delays with my childcare provider and had no one else available to watch my daughter. Christine became really aggressive and began ridiculing me stating that "they are going to think I did not do my job, people came in early to see you, and here and now you are canceling your appointment" and that I would be charged a cancellation/no-show charge. She alsomade a bizarre suggestion that I bring my 1 year old daughter to the appointment just to receive an X-ray and then come another time for cleaning. I want to note that for the 2 years that I have been seen at your office for dental services, I have never canceled or missed any scheduled appointments, and today having a legitimate reason concerning my childcare, your receptionist taking that approach was disheartening. Emergency occurrences happen to my patients as well and I would have never spoken to any of my patients the way Christine spoke with me this morning, as a result, My family members N**** M, J*** E, and I will not be scheduling any future appointments at your office and will have the new dentist office call to request for our records to be transferred. The owner is a crook!! I went there to get a teeth cleaning, I was told that I had to get a X-ray on my teeth which was already done on my first visit. She drilled my tooth that was already filled and charged me $25 for each tooth in which I had my insurance. In total she charged me $121 along with my insurance information. Worst dentist ever. I am finding somewhere else that provides quality service.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Patel for years. I recently had a family emergency (a family member that used to visit Dr. Patel, but no longer will), and had to reschedule with over 5 hours notice. The woman is sending me bills for $50. STEER CLEAR, business must not be doing well for her to come after loyal customers for “reschedule fee”. Definitely look for other Dentists in the area, as she is the only dentist at “Riverside Dental”. She does this frequently, as you can see from other reviews, STAY AWAY!!!!! Her dental skills are lackluster at best, it was always very painful visiting her. Now I go to a dentist at NYU and my teeth feel better, and it was a painless experience. She is unprofessional and clueless on how to run a business. My family and I are changing dentists, I recommend anyone that goes here do the same.
